HP Envy Pro 6475 Troubleshooting

Windows

• Check if the printer and the device are connected well.
• Ensure there is an active wireless connection between the printer and the driver.
• Reboot the HP Envy Pro 6475 printer. While the printer is connected, remove the power cord.
• Do the same for the other end, remove it from the power supply.
• Check if the printer driver is updated. If it is not, then complete the update at once.
• Following this, ensure the driver software is also updated.

Mac

• Turn on the mac and the HP Envy Pro 6475.
• Check if all the cables connecting the printer and the device are intact.
• There should be an active wireless connection connecting the printer and the driver.
• Restart the printer and the device to remove any underlying errors.
• For the printer, while it is powered up, remove the power cord and reconnect it back.
• Restart the device to remove any unidentified errors.
• Update the HP Envy Pro 6475 printer driver and take a test print.

HP Envy Pro 6475 printer driver unavailable

• Power up the HP Envy Pro 6475 printer and the device.
• Ensure the printer and the device are compatible.
• Check if the HP Envy Pro 6475 and the device are connected to a network connection.
• The connection should be active and stable that the devices are connected.
• Following this, check the printer driver. If there is an update available, the printer driver should be updated.
• Once the update is done and if there are further changes that should be made, follow the steps.
• Following this if the error continues to prevail, uninstall the printer driver.
• Once the driver has been removed, the driver will have to be downloaded on the device.
• Open the HP support website and download the all-in-one printer driver.
• Continue to install it and the issue of the HP Envy Pro 6475 driver being unavailable will be resolved.

HP Envy Pro 6475 printer won’t Connect to WiFi

• Begin the process by first checking if the wireless router is in a proper connection.
• Make sure the connection is active and it is functioning at the right speed.
• To rectify these issues, restart the wireless router.
• Move to the rear end of the wireless router and press and hold down the power button.
• Wait for all the led lights to be turned off and allow the router to remain idle.
• After a few minutes, press and hold the power button at the back to turn it back on.
• Establish a connection with the HP Envy Pro 6475 and the wireless connection.
• At the rear end of the printer, press and hold the WPS push button.
• Do the same on the printer and the connection will be established in a few minutes.

Windows 10- Delete job files and restart

• Once the print job is sent to the printer, the printer file will be added to the list.
• If there is an error that is indicated on the device, do the same by removing it.
• To delete the file, open the current jobs and delete them.
• For this, move over to the desktop and locate the printer icon on the left side of the screen.
• On clicking the printer icon, a pop up will appear with all the current print jobs.
• Select all the printer jobs from the list and click Delete at the end.
• This will remove all the printer jobs from the list and the error file will also be removed.

MAC – Restart the router and printer

• Move over to the wireless connection router and press and hold the power button on the rear end.
• Wait for all the LED lights to be turned off on the wireless router.
• Allow the router to remain idle for a few minutes by removing the power cord.
• Connect the power cord back, and turn the router back on using the power button.
• Following this, wait for all the LED lights to be powered up.
• Move over to the Mac device, locate the Apple icon on the desktop.
• Scroll further down and choose Restart. The changes will be applied.

HP Envy Pro 6475 Printer can only print black

Check for driver issue

• If there is no issue with the ink cartridge and no physical damage with the printer move to the next step.
• Check if the HP Envy Pro 6475 printer has any driver issues.
• Begin the process by checking if the printer driver is updated.
• If there is an available update, complete it at once.
• Following this, if the issue continues to prevail, uninstall the printer driver.
• The driver can be downloaded and reinstalled on the device from the HP website.
